What we collect
Two kinds of information. From studio owners, we collect what you give us: name, email, phone number, business name, and anything you type into a form or tell us on a call. From leads generated by ads we run for a client, we collect the contact details submitted on that ad form, plus the recording and transcript of the calls our agent makes.
How we use it
Studio owner information is used to run your account, contact you, and bill you. Lead information is used to place the follow up call, book the appointment, and pass the result back to the studio that paid for the lead. We do not sell either one and we do not share lead data between clients.
Calls
Our agent identifies itself as an assistant when a person asks whether they are speaking with a human. Calls are recorded and transcribed so the studio can review them and so we can improve the agent. The agent states that the call is being recorded at the start of the call, before the conversation goes any further, so a person who does not want to be recorded can hang up. Anyone can ask to be removed from the call list at any point during a call or by emailing us.
Text messages
If you give us your number on this site, we use it to place the demo call you asked for and to text you about it: a confirmation when you book, a reminder before the call, and a message from us if we could not reach you. Message frequency varies, and depends on what you do. Message and data rates may apply, and those are between you and your mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or email us at help@directlineai.com. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share it with anyone outside the tools listed below that we use to run this. We never share it for anyone else’s marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect what you give us. This site and everything it talks to run over encrypted connections, so your details are encrypted in transit. Access to the systems that hold them is limited to the people who need it to do the work, and protected by individual accounts rather than shared ones.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and nobody can promise otherwise. If something does go wrong with data we hold about you, we will tell you.
Where it lives
Ad and lead data sits with Meta and with your CRM. Call data sits in the Retell account opened in your name. Scheduling data sits in the booking platform we set up for you. Each of those has its own policy, and each one is a processor acting on instructions from the studio that owns the account.
How long we keep it
While your account is active, and for 12 months after it closes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. When an engagement ends, the Retell account and its call history stay with you.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email help@directlineai.com and we will handle it within 30 days.
Opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to any message from us. You can withdraw consent at any time for future communications, by replying STOP or by emailing us, and it takes effect for everything we would have sent after that.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site can run a Meta pixel and Google Analytics. Neither one loads until you press Accept on the banner. Until you answer, and at any time after you press Reject, no request is made to Meta or to Google and neither of them receives anything about your visit.
If you accept, the pixel reports back to Meta when you arrive, when you submit the call back form, and when you book a time. Meta can use that to measure our ads and to show you our ads again elsewhere. Google Analytics loads on the same terms and records the same two events.
Your answer is stored in your own browser, under the name dl:consent, so we do not ask again on the next page. It is not sent to us and it is not a tracking identifier. Clearing your browser storage erases it and the banner asks again. To change your mind, use the Cookie choices link at the bottom of any page.
One thing the banner does not cover. The booking calendar is embedded from LeadConnector, and that embed loads its own scripts, including a Meta pixel of its own, and sets the cookies it needs to hold your appointment. It is part of how the booking works rather than something we added for measurement, so it loads with the calendar either way. If you would rather it did not, book by emailing us instead of using the calendar.
Blocking third party cookies and trackers in your browser, or using an ad blocker, stops all of it regardless of what you press here. Tell us at help@directlineai.com and we will confirm what we hold about you and delete it.
